  • We have three types:

    • One 2 One - the most popular by far! Choose an area code, we allocate you a number, and direct it to your chosen number. It can be a mobile number or even another landline.

    • One 2 Many - you can receive your Pocket Landline calls on more than one number. So you could have 2 or more recipients - giving you more chances of answering that call.

    • Many 2 One - this gives you more than one landline number in different area codes, all directed to your one mobile. Great for people who want to have a presence in more than one town.

  • All calls are diverted to your chosen number (e.g. your mobile phone number) for free so you simply answer it as you would a normal call.

  • Your mobile phone number will always remain the core number on your phone, so this is the one that people will see when you dial out.

    If you’re returning a customer’s call you can say something like “Hello, it’s [your business name]. I’m just returning your call you made to my office number.”

  • No. There are no charges for diverting calls, it's all free and totally unlimited.

  • No, the monthly price is all that you pay per month.

  • Yes, this number is 100% yours and you can take it with you if you change providers. We just charge a £25 admin fee for moving your number away.

  • Yes, you can leave us if you wish to move to another provider and still keep your number. There’s a £25 admin fee for moving your number away.

  • Yes. All we ask is 24 hours notice. A quick email to our support team and your number will be changed.

  • Definitely! Some providers charge up to 20p per minute for calling mobile phone numbers - so your incoming callers will be relieved to call you on your Pocket Landline number!

  • VOOT are our parent company. We use VOOT to setup the service and manage the payments, so your Direct Debit will be to VOOT Telecom.

    VOOT are a long established ethical business telecoms provider, and they can also help with all business telecoms, including mobiles and tariffs. If you decide to expand to a full telephone system they can help you with that too!
